Great food, super welcoming staff and it's always decorated with the current holiday or local event!

Food was tasty big portions, reasonable prices. And staff is friendly. We sat inside decore had cute owls.

Jan was our visit. Great service by a young lady and delicious food. The ambiance was super cute. It was Valentines all over the place. I really hope they do for each month different deco would be nice. We will be back if we come back to this area.

So we were on our way home from Tehachapi and decided to stop in Wrightwood. Such a cute little town. Of course I had to pull up YELP to see where we could grab a bite to eat. With both wanted breakfast and the Evergreen Cafe stood out first. Let start with the ambiance. It was the cutest little cafe. It only has maybe 5 booths, maybe 3 table and a counter. On site restrooms for customer only. From the pictures you can see it was decorated and super cozy. When we walked in the door we were immediately greeted by Andie. She was friendly and invited us in and told us to take a seat wherever we wanted. (I think we missed the breakfast rush so we were the only ones in there at that particular time.). Me and the Mr grabbed a booth and perused the menu. The hubby had the 2 egg breakfast with sausage, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. I opted for the short stack and a side of bacon. Food arrived very quickly. My hubby enjoyed his biscuits and gravy and the pancakes were delicious. Very big and filling. Also everything was served hot. My only side note would be next time to get the hash browns well done so that they could have a little crispness to them. Andie gave us impeccable service. I would so come back to this little spot for the food and the service.

the cutest little breakfast joint! this was me and my family's first time in big bear so we weren't familiar with the area. we walked around the town and saw this food place. as soon as we came in we were greeted by the biggest sweetheart. there were only two servers and they did a great job! i ordered the french toast with eggs and sausage. it tasted sooo amazing! i also got a strawberry lemonade, wasn't too big of a fan of it but still pretty good. the inside has about four booths, three tables and a countertop. it was filled with christmas and valentines decorations, it felt so cozy. me and my family absolutely loved this spot and i give this an 11/10 for service + food!

This place was surprisingly really good, your classic small town diner with a lot of charm. The staff were extremely friendly, efficient and the house was packed. All of our meals came out fresh and fairly quick. I had the cheesy bacon burger, my son had the ribs and my gf had the French toast, we all LOVED our meals and shared a bowl of chili which was also fantastic. Check them out

Andrea gave our hungry group great service, was very kind and brought our order per our request. Small place but definitely gives it a warm home like feel to it. When we visited it was during October and they had halloween decorations. Our food was good we didn't have any complaints on it! Definitely will visit when in town again.

I really loved this place! Took off a star for the prices aka they are pricey! We spent $60 not including tip for our dinner tonight (2 burgers coleslaw, sweet potato fries) a side of soup and 2 small apple ciders. Most "mountain" cafes are usually just ok, but this one was exceptional. The sweet potato fries esp were cooked perfect with no grease. My only gripe is that they should have some music or something playing in the background, as we could hear the full conversations of the workers having fun and talking about their dating lives, which totally changed the ambiance. Great place and I would totally come back, but maybe would try another place that's a little less expensive.

Best home cookin ever! The people make you feel like family home for a meal. Food is excellent.

Cute little spot in town with good food. Be prepared to walk in and immediately feel like you should be singing God Bless America... Waitress was super quick and kind, and checked on us frequently. I had the chorizo scramble, he had the Benedict, and we both got the home style potatoes. Good solid choices.
